Hot Ones - The Classic

This is a pure Hot Ones classic and behaves exactly as you would expect from a good basic hot sauce. The heat is light, but the flavor isn't boring: the chile de arbol brings that green, slightly grassy freshness, and the vinegar gives it a nice tang. The garlic and turmeric just round it out without making anything heavy or sweet. This is the type of sauce that you put on food and it feels like it was there from the start. On eggs, tortillas, a sandwich, pizza... it works everywhere.
