This sauce is interesting mainly because it's not what you'd expect. The apple and cumin combine to create a flavor that's a little sweet, a little warm, and quite different from classic hot sauces. The heat is more in the background, letting the flavor come through. This is one of those sauces that you first try on a plate, then realize it works really well with pork or sausages. A great choice when you want something different but still useful
